Electronic Voting Procedure

An electronic voting system, available in all six official ICAO languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish) will be used at the 42nd Session of the Assembly for the election of Member States to the Council. The election of Member States under Parts I and II is scheduled to take place during the Plenary session on Saturday, 27 September 2025, and the election of Member States under Part III is scheduled for the Plenary session on Tuesday, 30 September 2025. 

In accordance with the Standing Rules of Procedure of the Assembly, the possibility of conducting manual voting using paper ballots is retained as a contingency measure.
