Prayer Rooms
The Prayer Rooms are located on Rooms 4.20.35 and 4.20.36:
- From the Secretariat side: Access via the door to the right of the Medical Centre
- From the Conference block: Access via the door to the right of the elevators
Guidelines for Use of Prayer Rooms
These rooms are designated as spaces for quiet reflection, meditation and prayer. To ensure a peaceful and respectful atmosphere, please observe the following:
Time & Access
- These rooms are available to personnel and visitors of all faiths and beliefs. Please be inclusive and considerate.
- During peak hours, we encourage users to limit their time in the room to allow others the opportunity to use the space.
- Mobile phones and other electronic devices should be silenced or turned off before entering.
Cleanliness & Hygiene
- If required by your faith tradition, kindly remove your shoes before entering the room.
- Please leave the space as you found it, ensuring it remains clean and orderly for the next user.
- Eating and drinking are not permitted to preserve cleanliness and hygiene.
Items & Materials
You are welcome to bring prayer books or other personal items; however, please take them with you when you leave.
Prayer mats: For convenience and in keeping with tradition, a designated chair is available for shared use of prayer mats.
Prohibited Activities
To maintain the intended purpose of the Prayer Rooms, the following activities are not permitted:
