The eighteenth ICAO Air Services Negotiation (ICAN2026) Event will be hosted by the Autoridad Aeronáutica of Equatorial Guinea from 7 to 11 December 2026.
The event will be held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, in a hybrid setting (in-person and virtually). ICAN2026 will provide States, either on-site or participating remotely, with a central meeting place to conduct bilateral, regional or plurilateral air services negotiations and consultations, as well as networking opportunities for policy makers, regulators, air operators, service providers and other stakeholders.
ICAN has been highly commended by participating Delegations as an efficient platform for conducting air services negotiations. Since its inception, the number of countries that utilizes this facility has steadily increased. So far more than a total of 162 States have participated in and benefited from ICAN at least once.
This year's event will offer a forum for participants to learn about current industry trends and issues, and exchange experiences, in addition to the negotiation of agreements.
The event will be conducted in English. Delegates are responsible for arranging their own translation services for bilateral negotiation meetings, if needed.
