Annex 2 — Rules of the Air, Amendment 47 (State letter AN 13/1.1-21/19)

Amendment concerning remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) certificates and authorizations consequential to those introduced in Annex 8 — Airworthiness of Aircraft and the updating of definitions related to RPAS and command and control (C2) links, consequential to provisions in Annex 10 — Aeronautical Telecommunications, Volumes V and VI.

Annex 8 — Airworthiness of Aircraft, Amendment 108 (State letter AN 3/5.12-21/20)

This amendment provides updates to RPAS-related definitions and includes new requirements for remotely piloted aeroplanes, remotely piloted helicopters and remote pilot stations (RPS). It also includes requirements for C2 links and a template for remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) certificates of airworthiness.

Volume V — Radio Frequency Spectrum Utilization, Amendment 90 (State letter AN 7/66.2.2-21/17)

 

This amendment concerns frequency bands allocated to the C2 link supporting RPAS operations.

 

Volume VI — Communication Systems and Procedures relating to Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems C2 Link, first edition (State letter AN 7/67.2-21/18)

 

This first edition introduces a regulatory structure for C2 link procedures and systems characteristics, which are addressed separately under Part I (C2 Link Procedures) and Part II (C2 Link Systems).
