Celebrating International Women’s Day with an Inspiring New Opportunity!

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the ICAO Asia and Pacific (APAC) Regional Office are pleased to announce the launch of the “Gender Equality in Aviation Short Video Contest” for Southeast Asia.

In recognition of International Women's Day, we’re calling on students and apprentices across ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) to bring their creativity, storytelling, and digital talents to advocate for gender equality in aviation.

We invite you to create a powerful, social‑media-ready short video that shines light on gender equality in aviation and inspires others to join the movement.

The contest aims to inspire young talent to:

• Raise awareness about the importance of gender balance in the aviation sector
• Challenge stereotypes and highlight real opportunities for women and men
  Showcase diverse aviation career paths
• Propose ideas and reflections that contribute to a more inclusive and equitable aviation community
