USOAP CMA Community
What is USOAP CMA Community?
USOAP CMA Community is an online platform accessible through the web and mobile apps where State representatives can exchange ideas, share experience, learn and communicate with each other and ICAO.
Unlike many social media platforms, the USOAP CMA Community provides a space for focused community engagement, free from distractions like ads and data mining. It is an innovative way to expand the Programme’s global outreach to better engage and serve the ICAO Member States, in coordination with the Regional Offices (ROs).
Recommendations of Group of Experts for USOAP CMA Structured Review (GEUSR)
- Improving the communication between ICAO and States.
- Facilitating regional or sub-regional meetings of NCMCs.
- Creating an online user forum for NCMCs to communicate with each other and with ICAO.
Engaging National Continuous Monitoring Coordinators (NCMCs)
The NCMCs are responsible for submitting, maintaining and/or updating the aviation safety information provided by their States to ICAO on a continuous basis. Besides being a forum for all NCMCs to discuss matters pertaining to their duties among themselves, the USOAP Community is also intended to support NCMCs in carrying on their responsibilities with information and advice.
