The first ICAO Global Air Cargo Summit, 9 to 11 April 2025 in Antalya, Türkiye

For the first time, ICAO will convene stakeholders from across the air cargo supply chain - including governments, airlines, airport operators, freight forwarders, relevant UN agencies - to collaborate towards the development of harmonized solutions to advance positive safety and security trends as part of the environmentally and economically sustainable growth of international air cargo services.

ICAO is a partner in the UNCTAD  eTrade for All initiative, which supports States’ efforts to seize new opportunities presented by the increasingly digital global economy to develop their own national economies. ICAO contributes its expertise on transport of goods by air (air cargo) to this initiative through such activities and deliverables as eTrade Readiness Assessments, participation in UNCTAD eWeek, as well as inviting UNCTAD contributions to ICAO venues.

The United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT) is a subsidiary, intergovernmental body of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) which serves as a focal point within the United Nations Economic and Social Council for trade facilitation recommendations and electronic business standards.
