Eighth Meeting of the Directors General of Civil Aviation of the Africa-Indian Ocean Region

Objectives:
To review evolution of the aviation performance in the AFI Region in last 6 years and key priorities for next 5 years, post-COVID-19 air traffic recovery/forecast, human resource development and aviation professional issues in the region. This meeting will also discuss the preparations for the upcoming ICAO High level conference on COVID-19 2021. Aviation partners are expected to provide updates on their initiatives.
Participants:
- Directors General of Civil Aviation of AFI States, to be accompanied by technical experts as necessary, to take full advantage of the meeting's deliberations; and
- Invited representatives of international/regional organizations/Industry.
