The International Civil Aviation Organization has produced a powerful video to highlight its activities in the field of aviation and climate change since the last Assembly in 2019.  The video reports on progress by ICAO and its Member States in achieving the collective global aspirational goals for the international aviation sector of improving 2% annual fuel efficiency and carbon neutral growth from 2020 onwards. While a concrete mechanism is already put in place to achieve the existing climate goals, ICAO is also working on the feasibility of a long-term global aspirational goal (LTAG) for international aviation.
