Endorsement of the Global Air Navigation Plan (GANP)
The Council, during its 199th Session, approved the new Global Air Navigation Plan (GANP) which includes the Aviation System Block Upgrades (ASBUs) developed by an industry-based Technical Team and considered by States at the Twelfth Air Navigation Conference (AN-Conf/12, 2012). The GANP was endorsed by the 38th Session of the ICAO Assembly as the strategic direction for the technical work programme of ICAO in the field of air navigation capacity and efficiency through Resolution A38-2.
