Purpose
A formal channel, established by RASG-APAC for the identification and notification of regional safety concerns. It enables States, Administrations, International Organizations, and Industry stakeholders to notify emerging hazards to the Asia Pacific Regional Aviation Safety Team (APRAST) for further technical analysis, prioritization, and the development of coordinated regional mitigation strategies.
Objective
Assessment and Intervention Submissions are analyzed by the APRAST OPS or ORG Working Groups to determine the appropriate regional action, such as:

2. Complete the form and submit it to the designated Co-Chairs of the OPS and ORG Working Groups, specified in the form. Please ensure a copy is also sent to apac [at] icao.int (apac[at]icao[dot]int) and apac.flightsafety [at] icao.int (apac[dot]flightsafety[at]icao[dot]int).
Global Reporting Recommendation
To support the global collection of safety data in accordance with the Global Aviation Safety Plan (GASP, Doc 10004), RASG-APAC highly recommends that stakeholders also submit operational safety risks and emerging issues, as applicable, to the ICAO Secure Portal on Operational Safety Risks and Emerging Issues.
