Safety recommendations derived from investigations are issued by accident investigation authorities with the intention of preventing accidents and incidents.

 

Annex 13 requires that States shall address, when appropriate, any safety recommendations arising out of its investigations to the accident investigation authorities of other State(s) concerned and, when ICAO documents are involved, to ICAO.

 

The objective of this webpage is to publish a library of safety recommendations addressed to ICAO and the actions taken. The library of safety recommendations will be updated on a regular basis.

 

Note: Safety recommendations that were addressed and submitted to ICAO, have been formally processed since 2005.
