The 39th ICAO Assembly adopted Resolution A39-3 (Consolidated statement of continuing ICAO policies and practices related to environmental protection – Global Market-based Measure (MBM) Scheme), in which it was decided that ICAO and Member States take all necessary actions in providing capacity building and assistance for implementation of CORSIA.
The ICAO Council has agreed on the organization of the 2018 ICAO Regional Seminars on CORSIA, bearing in mind that the CORSIA-related Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) are under development.
The objective of the 2018 Regional Seminars is to share information on the CORSIA implementation requirements, in order for participants to have a clear understanding of the detailed procedures and required actions, as well as related responsibilities, among relevant stakeholders involved in the CORSIA implementation.
