Safety Intelligence Manual (Doc 10159)

The first edition of the Safety Intelligence Manual provides guidance related to the collection, 
processing, analysis and application of safety data and safety information and the development of safety 
intelligence. It supports the provisions introduced through Annex 19 – Safety Management, Amendment 1.

This manual complements the Safety Management Manual (SMM, Doc 9859) and includes content 
related to safety data collection, processing and analysis that was previously part of the SMM fourth edition, 
(2018). This content was expanded in this manual to provide more comprehensive guidance with extensive new material to support the enhanced provisions in Chapter 5 of Annex 19, Amendment 2.
