Environmental Policies on Aviation Fuels

 

The following dashboard provides a summary of the policies (adopted and under development) to foster the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels and Lower Carbon Aviation Fuels. 

Many of these policies are further detailed in the  ICAO "​Guidance on potential policies and coordinated approaches for the deployment of SAF (2023)", which describes potential policies and coordinated approaches for the deployment of SAF, completing a toolbox of guidance material for use by ICAO Member States together with the ICAO SAF Rules of Thumb.
