CORSIA allows aircraft operators to reduce its offsetting requirements through the use of CORSIA eligible fuels (CEF), which include CORSIA sustainable aviation fuels and CORSIA lower carbon aviation fuels.
For that, all the economic operators (EOs) associated with the CEF supply chain shall be certified by an ICAO-Approved Sustainability Certification Scheme (SCS). These include:
farms/plantations,
points of origin for wastes/residues and by products
first gathering points
fuel blenders and traders
fuel producers
intermediate producers (e.g. ethanol)
Once certified, a fuel producer can then produce batches of CORSIA eligible fuels and issue associated documentation.
The dashboard below provides information on these CORSIA-certified economic operators and associated batches of CEF production, based on the yearly reports provided by the ICAO-approved Sustainability Certification Schemes.
The dashboard provide information on the certifications and fuel produced up to 31st December of the last reporting year. For more up to date information, please refer to the websites of the ICAO-approved SCSs.
