Safety Intelligence and Safety Performance Management Workshops:

In parallel to the work being done to develop Amendment 2 to Annex 19 and the new Safety Intelligence Manual (Doc 10159) and to address feedback received by States, ICAO updated its safety management-related workshops. The delivery of these workshops, starting in 2023, have aimed to support States and stakeholders by enhancing knowledge and skills in using data for safety decision-making, developing safety intelligence strategies, and managing safety performance.

Key Points:

• Objectives:  understand the importance and use of data for managing safety and making decisions, develop safety intelligence strategy, and monitoring and managing safety performance.
• Format: Includes presentations, discussions, hands-on exercises, and case studies.
• Audience: Intended for professionals involved in State Safety Programmes (SSP), Safety Management Systems (SMS), and those working with safety intelligence or safety performance management.
