The primary objectives of this workshop
- To share with the aviation industry the current status of implementation of the ICAO quantitative volcanic ash (QVA) concentration information service.
- To facilitate users, regulators, and other interested parties, to understand the benefits and uncertainties inherent in the data provision, to support intelligence-led, risk-based application of policies and procedures.
- To give an opportunity to share existing draft education and guidance material and for all stakeholders to articulate their requirements for further material to assist in the utilisation and oversight of the QVA concentration information service.
