RSIAs are short, early-warning notices. RASG-PA uses them to quickly tell carriers, ANSPs, airline and pilot associations, and CAAs about a potential safety threat in the Pan America region. They may include recommendations, but they come out before RASG-PA finishes analyzing the issue and developing full recommendations. Members are expected to check whether the issue occurs in their own operations and mitigate it.
