Safety Advisories (RSA)
RASG-PA Safety Advisories (RSAs) provide comprehensive recommendations to address key safety issues in the Pan America region. RSAs are developed by RASG-PA through analysis of the safety issue, drawing on input from States and operators in the region and on guidance from ICAO, industry and manufacturers. They set out specific recommendations for each group of stakeholders, such as air carriers and Civil Aviation Authorities, and explain the safety rationale behind each one. RSAs are revised as new information becomes available and may build on RASG-PA Safety Issue Alerts (RSIAs) addressing related issues. RASG-PA members are encouraged to implement the recommendations applicable to their operations to mitigate the identified risk.
