The workshop intends to inform and update civil aviation and other related officials on the importance of air law treaties, highlighting benefits and obligations of States that become parties to international legal instruments as well as the ratification processes and tools to implement them.
Participants are required to obtain a nomination letter from their agency for submission as part of the registration (see registration information).
Attendance is recommended for officials responsible for international aviation law and related matters at the Civil Aviation Authority, National Assembly, Transport, Justice and Foreign Affairs Ministries and relevant government agencies.
Registration Information
Nomination letters should be sent by email attachment to officeleb [at] icao.int (officeleb[at]icao[dot]int) and in copy to maria.memba [at] tcaa.go.tz (maria[dot]memba[at]tcaa[dot]go[dot]tz) not later than 5 December 2025.
Registration is not complete until receipt of a confirming email. Nomination letters should be signed by the executive head or responsible official of a department, agency or organization and indicate the name, role and title and email contact of the nominated official. Participants must be officials responsible for international air law and related matters in their State.
