Alex Ivanenko
​
HyPoint

Alex is the co-founder and CEO of HyPoint, the NASA award-winning Silicon Valley startup pioneering air-cooled hydrogen fuel cell systems for aviation and urban air mobility. Prior to founding HyPoint, Alex held senior sales roles at both 3M Corp. (NYSE: MMM) and Owens Corning (NYSE: OC) covering Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. He attended Saratov State Technical University, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees, both in engineering, as well as a Ph.D. in electrochemistry. In addition, he received an MBA from The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).​

​Barbara Jinks

IRENA

Barbara Jinks has over 35 years in the energy industry from greenfield projects to international corporate roles with operators, consultants, construction contractors and industry associations. She now works with IRENA (the International Renewable Energy Agency) where she looks after the topic of the role of green gases in the energy transition. This includes the use of hydrogen to transport renewable energy and the use of the gas grid to deliver biomethane, hydrogen and synthetic methane to essential sectors, including aviation, industry and heavy transport.

Barbara is listed on the Women in Green Hydrogen expert database. She has degrees in engineering, environmental science and commercial law.

Geert Decock 

T&E

Geert joined T&E in July 2019 after a decade in advocacy roles in Brussels for organisations representing civil society and industry. Geert leads T&E’s work on policies that will enable the electricity grid to integrate the millions of electric vehicles that will hit the EU’s roads in the coming years. In his previous positions Geert worked on a host of environmental and energy dossiers, ranging from the EU’s Clean Energy Package negotiations to Ecodesign and Energy Labelling policies to a campaign to ban fracking for shale gas.
Geert hails from Belgium, but also has Canadian citizenship. He holds a law degree from the University of Ghent, a masters in European studies from KU Leuven and a PhD in political science from the University of Alberta. He speaks Dutch, English, French and some German. On the weekend, you can find him cruising his race bike up and down the hills around Brussels, in the fine company of the Brussels-based cycling group GS Fartlek.

​Glenn Llewellyn

Airbus
Glenn Llewellyn is Vice President, Zero-Emission Aircraft at Airbus, the world’s leadingaircraft manufacturer and an international pioneer in the aerospace sector. Glenn is widelyrecognised as a top-tier thought leader on climate strategy for aviation.Today, Glenn is at the helm of a zero-emission revolution at Airbus with the mission to uniteall the ingredients needed to launch the world’s first zero-emission commercial aircraft programme, ZEROe. Recognising the need for cross-industry synergies, he has been instrumental in forging some of the forward-looking partnerships necessary to achieving Airbus’ ambitious vision with a variety of aviation and technology leaders. This includes airlines (easyJet, SAS Airlines, Air France), technology partners (Elring Klinger through the Aerostack Gmbh joint-venture) and airport operators (ADP). Glenn looks forward to partnering with more and more players keen on making climate-neutral travel possible.
​Hideyuki Taguchi

JAXA

Dr. Taguchi obtained his Doctoral degree at the University of Tokyo. 
He has worked for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries from 1993, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) from 2003. 
He has developed a hydrogen powered jet engine and he is working on conceptual study of hydrogen aircraft and future space transportation system.

​Xavier Vigor

Air Liquide

​Xavier Vigor began his professional career in 1988 within the Air Liquide Group. He has successively held positions in research and development, sales, engineering and management, always in innovative fields. In particular, he has been Managing Director of the Chicago and the Loges-en-Josas (near Paris) Research Centers, of small standard production plants Engineering, of the Group industrial IT. Recently he was the Managing Director of Air Liquide advanced Technologies in Grenoble. 
Today, he is Vice-President Technologies (CTO) and Industrial Management of the Air Liquide  World  Business Line for Hydrogen Energy.
Xavier Vigor is a graduate of École Centrale des Arts et Manufactures.
