The thirteenth ICAO Air Services Negotiation (ICAN2021) Event will be hosted by the Aeronautica Civil of Colombia from 6 to 10 December 2021.
The event will be held in Bogotá, Colombia in a hybrid setting (in-person and virtually). ICAN2021 will provide States, either on-site or participating remotely, with a central meeting place to conduct bilateral, regional or plurilateral air services negotiations and consultations, as well as networking opportunities for policy makers, regulators, air operators, service providers and other stakeholders.
ICAN has been highly commended by participating Delegations as an efficient platform for conducting air service negotiations. Since its inception, the number of countries that utilizes this facility has steadily increased. So far more than a total of 152 States have participated in and benefited from ICAN at least once.
This year's event will offer a private forum for participants to learn about current trends and exchange on experiences, in addition to the negotiation of agreements.
