                            H.M.S Negi

Mr. J.M.S. Negi
He is currently the General Manager (Air Traffic Management), Airport Authority of India, CHQ, New Delhi and is responsible as the chief of Procedure Design Section. With his M.Sc. (Physics) qualification, he joined Civil Aviation Department as Air Traffic Controller in 1975 and worked as an active controller until 1991. He held Tower, Approach, Terminal & En-route radar ratings of I.G.I. Airport Delhi. He also worked as an Instructor in the Civil Aviation Training College, Allahabad until 1996.
Thereafter, he worked as a procedure designer since 1996 in Airport Authority of India and designed a number of procedures for various civilian airports in India. He also conducted 4 Basic PANS-OPS courses in Civil Aviation Training College, Allahabad for Indian participants.
Mr. Negi successfully completed Pans-Ops Procedure Design Course (Basic) in 1992 and Pans-Ops Update Course in 1999 in Singapore Aviation Academy. He also successfully completed the ICAO PBN Procedure Design Course in 2008 in New Delhi and thereafter completed the ICAO PBN Procedure Design Instructor Course conducted by ENAC in 2009.

 

 

                    

                             Mike Tam

 

 

Mr. Mike Tam

Mr. Tam is the Chief of Training in the ICAO Asia-Pacific Flight Procedure Programme (FPP) Office.  He graduated from the University of Hong Kong, with majors in Psychology and Statistics in 1994. He previously worked for the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD) as an air traffic controller.  Being an instructor in both radar and aerodrome environments, he has trained a number of the existing ATC officers in HK.  Mike also assisted in various evaluation projects in the past few years. He subsequently obtained Procedure Design Instructor qualification from the French Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC) in August 2009.  In the past 3 years, he has been actively involved in procedure design activities and assisted HKCAD in pushing forward various Performance Based Navigation (PBN) initiatives.

 

Mr. R. Sridhar 
Mr. Sridhar is currently Joint General Manager (ATM) in the Airport Authority of India. He is serving in Guwahati, India and is responsible for the Aviation Safety related requirements of the Northeastern Region of India.  He is also presently officiating as General Manager responsible for all ATM-related requirements for all of the airports in the Northeastern Region of India.
He is an active Air traffic controller and holds all the procedural and Radar Ratings of Chennai Airport.  He was a Radar and Procedural Air Traffic Control Instructor at the Civil Aviation Training College of India for five years.  He has also worked as an On-the -job Instructor for ATCOs at Hyderabad and Chennai Airports.  
As nodal officer, he led a team to design and implement RNAV 1 SIDs and STARs for Chennai International Airport in 2009. 
He obtained Procedure Design Instructor qualification from the French Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC) in August 2009. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

                            Arif Mumtaz

Mr. Arif Mumtaz

He started his career from Pakistan Meteorological Department in March 1984 after doing his graduation with Physics as major subject. He continued to strive for knowledge and completed his M.Sc. (Applied Physics) in 1988 when he was awarded Gold Medal by University of Karachi on securing first position. He joined Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority as Air Traffic Controller in 1989 and worked as an active controller until 2005. He held Tower, Approach, Terminal & En-route radar/non-radar ratings at Jinnah International Airport Karachi where he also worked as On-Job Instructor. He has also been working as visiting Instructor in the Civil Aviation Training Institute, Hyderabad since 2003.
Mr. Arif successfully completed Pans-Ops Procedure Design Course (Basic) from ENAC Toulouse France and started working as a procedure designer in 2005 in Air Navigation Services Division of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority. He designed a number of procedures for various civilian airports in Pakistan. He also successfully completed the ICAO RNAV Procedure Design Course from ENAC Toulouse France during 2007 and PBN Procedure Design Course in 2008 in New Delhi. He thereafter completed the ICAO PBN Procedure Design Instructor Course conducted by ENAC in 2009. He conducted PANS-OPS training courses at ICAO FPP Beijing and in Karachi Pakistan. 
He also worked as PANS-OPS inspector in the regulatory division of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority and was responsible for the development of regulation of Procedure Design and safety oversight of Procedure Design in Pakistan and recently joined ICAO FPP as Chief Procedure Designer.

Mr. Joe Lam

Joe has been an Evaluation Officer in the Air Traffic Management Division, Civil Aviation Department (CAD), Hong Kong SAR since 2007. In this capacity he participated a number of procedure designs of PBN procedures and procedures for new commercial operation application. He also assisted in terminal airspace development and evaluation. Besides, he has experience in CNS/ATM and CNS/MET.

Prior to performing the duty as an Evaluation Officer, he was an Air Traffic Control Officer (ATCO) of Hong Kong International Airport for 10years.

Joe graduated from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He underwent basic ATM training in England and acquired his PPL in Australia. Joe completed his initial Pans-Ops training at the Singapore Aviation Academy. He was later trained as a PBN procedure designer by ENAC. In 2009, he completed the PBN Procedure Design Instructor Course at ENAC in Toulouse, France.
