Register to iSTARS
iSTARS 4.0 is a group within the ICAO Secure Portal, so the registration process differs for existing portal members and new users.
Process for NEW USERS of the ICAO Secure Portal
- Register for an ICAO Secure Portal account and iSTARS 4.0 access via this link:
https://portallogin.icao.int/NewUserRegistration.aspx?grps=istars4 - Complete the New User Account Application form with the required information.
- Click the SUBMIT REQUEST button.
- Once your request has been reviewed, you will receive an email confirmation indicating whether access has been granted or denied.
Process for CURRENT MEMBERS of the ICAO Secure Portal.
- Login to the ICAO Secure Portal account with username and password.
- Select Profile at the top of your screen; a new window will open.
- From the left-hand menu, select Group Subscribe.
- Enter “istars4” as the group name, provide a brief justification for your request and click the Submit Changes button.
Please allow up to 48 hours for your request to be reviewed. Once you have approval, you will receive an email confirmation.
Password Reset Instructions
Please note that all user passwords expire within three (3) months. All users are informed automatically by email seven days before their passwords expire.
Steps to recover password:
- From the browser, navigate to https://login.icao.int/my.policy
- At the login page, on your profile click on the Password reset link.
- Enter your e-mail address or your user ID. Your User ID: username
- Enter the answer the image verification located at the bottom of the page. Then click “Send me a link to reset my password”.
