Tuesday 26 May 2026
- Opening – UN Decade of Sustainable Transport 2026-2035.
- Setting the Scene – Latest developments in science, academic research, technological innovation and relevant global events, including the outcomes of the 42nd Session of the ICAO Assembly, will be presented.
- LTAG Monitoring and Reporting – Monitoring, reporting and accounting of CO2 emissions reductions from technology, operations and fuels, including the latest development on the ICAO LTAG Monitoring and Reporting methodology, will be showcased.
- Aircraft Technology – Bring forward the airframe and engine design concepts needed to tackle aviation environmental impacts. The ICAO efforts in making more stringent aeroplane CO2 emissions and noise design Standards will be at the center of discussions.
- Climate Impact Outlook and Progressing of Non-CO2 Aviation Emissions - An overview of the latest research on the climate impact of non-CO2 aviation emissions.
- Infrastructure and Operations – Innovations in air traffic management improvements and ground operational measures to reduce CO2 emissions will be presented, while providing a basis to enable wider reductions in aviation's climate impact.
- Climate Adaptation – Latest science related to climate events, and adaptation measures to address the impacts of climate change to aviation operations, airports and infrastructure.
Wednesday 27 May 2026
- SAF, LCAF and Other Cleaner Energies – Latest developments to accelerate SAF, LCAF and other aviation cleaner energies, and the progress and challenges towards the implementation of CAAF/3 global framework will be addressed.
- ICAO ACT-SAF Programme – Latest developments to support States and relevant stakeholders under the ACT-SAF and other capacity-building and implementation support programmes, with focus on investigating the feasibility of producing SAF in developing countries, will be showcased.
- State Action Plans – Highlight the progress achieved to date by both ICAO and Member States. The panel discussion will showcase best practices implemented by States in developing and updating their Action Plans and will explore the challenges encountered throughout the process to strengthen the initiative and cooperation in contributing to the LTAG.
- Launching of ICAO ACT-LTAG Programme – Extend support to other aviation carbonization measures, with the focus on the development and update of State Action Plans, while recognizing the importance of collaborating with regional initiatives and platforms.
Thursday 28 May 2026
- Financing and ICAO Finvest Hub – The latest progress toward the full operationalization of the ICAO Finvest Hub to facilitate the financial access to aviation decarbonization projects will be showcased, including discussions for further funding opportunities.
- CORSIA – Latest on the implementation of CORSIA, including CO₂ emissions monitoring, reporting, verification and the use of eligible emissions units. It will also celebrate 10 years of CORSIA, highlighting its progress and impact on aviation’s climate action.
- Taxation – Discuss concerns on the aviation taxation approach and why CORSIA was agreed as the global market-based measure to address international aviation CO₂ emissions, while preserving international connectivity.
