Join us for the Second ICAO NGAP Global Summit (NGAP/2) that will be convened at Shenzhen, China, from 12 to 14 December 2018. The Summit is intended to unite the aviation community, education and labour sectors to address strategies and actions for engaging, educating and retaining the next generation of aviation professionals, and to establish partnerships for the implementation of these actions.
Co-hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government of Guangdong Province, the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Beihang University, the Summit will provide a unique opportunity for information-sharing, discussing and highlighting the importance of NGAP in implementing ever-evolving global strategies for safety, air navigation, security, environmental protection and economic development.
A number of special activities will take place during the Summit:
- Model ICAO Forum for college and university students who are interested in aviation
- Aviation University Forum
- Information session on future airport development presented by the Shenzhen Municipal Government
- Virtual Reality Experience
- Announcement of the ICAO initiative to support young researchers and innovators
- Announcement of the newly-established international organization of aviation Universities
- Exhibition
The Summit is aimed at government officials responsible for aviation, transport, education and labor, as well as representatives from industry, academic and training institutions.
