ICAO Aviation Data and Analysis Seminar will take place from 19 to 23 August 2019 in Mexico City, Mexico
ICAO Aviation Data and Analysis (AVDATA) Seminar to be convened at the ICAO NACC Regional Office in Mexico City, Mexico, from 19 to 23 August 2019, has the objetive to obey the 39th Session of the ICAO Assembly which resolved to make arrangements for assitance to be given uipon request to Member States by ICAO for the irmprovement of aviation data, statistics and statistical reporting to the Organization.
The first two days of the seminar will focus on training to complete the various air transport reporting forms (ATR’s) and in addressing improvement of the quality of data sent to ICAO and other aviation stakeholders. The following three days will focus on the use of data and analysis by Member States for informed policy to improve air transport connectivity and benefit from the economic potential offered by the air transport sector.
The seminar will bring together stakeholders, (regulators, Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), aerodrome operators, aircraft operators, International Organizations and industry) to review the current situation and trends of aviation in the region, including the synergies between aviation, tourism and trade; and the understanding of the challenges and needs of the different stakeholders, considering the cost effectiveness.
