The Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS) is ICAO's flagship annual event dedicated to implementation support, capacity development, and international cooperation. As one of ICAO's prominent global gatherings, GISS brings together Ministers, Directors General of Civil Aviation, industry leaders, international organizations, financial institutions, and relevant stakeholders to address the practical challenges of implementing global aviation priorities.
GISS serves as a platform for high-level dialogue, knowledge exchange, partnership-building and collaboration in support of the implementation of ICAO's Strategic Plan 2026-2050. The programme features ministerial discussions, expert panels, and an international exhibition, creating a unique environment where Member States, industry and development partners can share expertise, foster partnerships, and advance practical solutions that strengthen aviation systems and support economic development and sustainable growth.
