ICAO Security Week 2026 will serve as a global platform for States, industry, and international organizations to address current and emerging challenges in aviation security and cybersecurity while sharing best practices, innovations, and experiences.
Under the theme “Secure Skies in a Complex World: Advancing Security in Aviation for All”, the event will promote international cooperation to enhance resilience against evolving threats to civil aviation. The programme will feature symposium sessions, panel discussions and an exhibition, covering key areas such as: modernization of aviation security through modern technologies, innovation and AI, workforce development, cybersecurity frameworks, addressing risks arising from conflict zones, including enhanced information-sharing and practical approaches to support risk assessment, and secure cargo and supply chains.
Discussions will be guided by ICAO programmes such as GASeP and USAP-CMA. Bringing together a wide range of stakeholders —including government officials, regulators, industry representatives, and security experts— the event will also provide networking and collaboration opportunities, contributing to strategic discussions leading up to the Third High-level Conference on Aviation Security (HLCAS/3) in 2027.
