The NAT Vision Workshop was held at the ICAO EUR/NAT Office on 27 April 2026. The Workshop resulted in updates to the NAT Vision document, forming part of the NAT Air Navigation Plan, in order to ensure alignment with the latest edition of the Global Air Navigation Plan (GANP) and the Aviation System Block Upgrades (ASBU) framework, as approved by the most recent session of the ICAO Assembly. The principal highlights of the updated NAT Vision include the implementation of future Trajectory‑Based Operations, supported by the Flight and Flow Information for a Collaborative Environment (FF‑ICE) and System‑Wide Information Management (SWIM).
The Workshop was followed by the NAT Implementation Management Group (IMG) meeting, held from 28 to 30 April 2026, during which progress on ongoing NAT regional implementation programmes and future implementation planning was reviewed. Particular emphasis was placed on measures to enhance the resilience of the NAT system, including consideration of recommendations arising from the NAT space weather exercises, as well as progress on the Oceanic Clearance (OCR) and Reduced Lateral Separation (RCL) removal projects.

In parallel, the NAT Economic and Financial Forecast Group (EFFG) met on 28 and 29 April 2026. The main outcomes of this meeting included the update of the NAT traffic forecast and further discussions on financial models to support Single Transponder Operations (STO) integration.
