During 2015, EAO completed internal audits on the Commissariat, IT project management, the Bangkok Regional Office and the Beijing Regional Sub-Office, the employment of consultants, and the AVSEC Fund. It also completed evaluation reports on external stakeholder perspectives on ICAO and the Comprehensive Regional Implementation Plan for Aviation Safety in Africa (AFI Plan). Furthermore, a working paper summarizing the recommendations and Secretariat Action Plan relating to the Joint Inspection Unit (JIU) report, entitled “Post-Rio+20 Review of Environmental Governance within the United Nations System,” was presented to the Council.
