2022 ICAO Legal Seminar

The 2022 ICAO Legal Seminar is intended to inform and update government officials on the Work Programme of ICAO in the legal field and a number of current subjects in the field of international air law. In particular, the Seminar will address topics relating to ICAO's work in the legal field, aviation safety and aviation security and current issues in aviation law and practice. This will include climate change and the recovery of international civil aviation following the COVID-19 pandemic.
Attendance is recommended for officials responsible for civil aviation regulation and international air law and related matters in their respective States.
Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, the seminar will be conducted in a hybrid format allowing for attendance in-person and by virtual means. Due to the associated public health risk mitigation measures, there will be a limitation for on-site participation. In-person attendance is therefore subject to confirmation by the host State, following registration.
