The ICAO CDI Fellowships Programme is dedicated to enhancing global aviation safety, security, and efficiency by developing skilled professionals through targeted training and education. This programme offers funded fellowships to candidates, most often for developing countries but also for developed countries, covering a wide range of aeronautical fields—from basic equipment training to advanced course.

Through partnerships with training institutions, the programme provides tailored educational opportunities designed to meet the unique needs of regional and national aviation sectors, fostering a skilled workforce that strengthens civil aviation worldwide.
