Aviation Medical Examiner Course
Following the Germanwings flight accident in 2015, ICAO initiated a review of the Aviation Medical Examiner guidance material relating to mental health assessment, which was completed in March. Revised guidance material will be submitted to the Medical Provisions Study Group (MPSG) for review, and an update of the International Civil Aviation Medicine Manual is planned for 2018 and 2019.
