Session 7: Implementation – ATC and AIS provider views

Case studies and the views of Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), Air Traffic Controllers (ATC) and Aeronautical Information Services (AIS). The effective transmission of data associated with the GRF is key. ATC will also play a role in monitoring conditions on the maneuvering area.

An introduction to ICAO guidance material, a description of how to assess the contaminants and the use of measurement tools, including maintenance of the surface friction characteristics. Future developments will also be explored.
