The Evaluation and Audit Advisory Committee (EAAC) is an independent expert advisory body set up by the Council of ICAO with the purpose of reviewing the accounting and financial reporting process, the system of internal control, the risk and audit process, the evaluation process, and the process for monitoring compliance with financial rules and regulations and the Framework on Ethics.
The mandate of the EAAC is set out in its
Terms of Reference (ToR). EAAC is composed of five to seven independent experts and are appointed for a three year term, renewable once. The membership of EAAC was renewed most recently in 2020.
