ICAO document “CORSIA Central Registry: Information and Data for the Implementation of CORSIA

 

This ICAO document provides information that is required to be published in order to support the implementation of CORSIA.

 

The information includes:

  • ICAO document “CORSIA Aeroplane Operator to State Attributions

This ICAO document includes a list of aeroplane operators and the State to which they are attributed.

The sixth edition of this ICAO document has been approved by the ICAO Council and is available for download here.

  •  ICAO document “CORSIA 2020 Emissions

This ICAO document contains the total international aviation CO2 emissions in 2020.

The first edition of this ICAO document has been approved by the ICAO Council and is available for download here

  •  ICAO document “CORSIA Annual Sector’s Growth Factor (SGF)

This ICAO document will include the Sector’s Growth Factor for a given year y starting in 2021 (SGFy).

 

The first edition of this ICAO document, containing Sector’s Growth Factor for year 2021, will become available, following approval by the ICAO Council, by 31 October 2022.

Part I: List of verification bodies accredited in States

Methodology for ICAO-level Gap Filling

Click here to download a description of the methodology that has been developed by ICAO to fill the emissions gaps for States that have not submitted their emissions reports in accordance with the timeline as defined in Appendix 1 to Annex 16, Volume IV. The estimated CO2 emissions are used to calculate the total sectoral CO2 emissions and (from 2022 onwards) the Sectoral Growth Factor in a given year, consistent with Annex 16, Volume IV, Part II, Chapter 2, 2.5.2.2.
