In preparation for the first ICAO Stocktaking Seminar toward the 2050 Vision for Sustainable Aviation Fuels, States and Organizations are invited to return a completed Aviation Fuel Questionnaire to ICAO by email (officeenv@icao.int) by 12 April 2019. The questionnaire has been designed to provide a better understanding of the current development and deployment of sustainable aviation fuel and lower carbon aviation fuel, and to provide a vision for the future use of these fuels.

The questionnaire requests both descriptive and quantitative information. Any State, Organization, or other event participant that submits a completed questionnaire can indicate how ICAO may use this information.

• ICAO intends to use the descriptive information to update the ICAO Global Framework for Aviation Alternative Fuels (GFAAF) "Initiatives and Projects" page, which serves as an online database for information related to aviation fuels.

• ICAO intends to use the quantitative information only in an aggregated manner and post it on a dedicated page of the ICAO GFAAF, which will be launched following the Seminar. ICAO also intends to present these aggregated details during the closing session of the event.

• Any State, Organization, or other event participant may indicate additional restrictions or permissions on how ICAO may use any submitted information.
