The Sixth meeting of the Regional Aviation Safety Group - Middle East (RASG-MID/6) was hosted by Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs, Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, from 26 to 28 September 2017. The meeting addressed the Global Development related to the aviation safety including the Global Aviation Safety Plan (GASP) update. In this regard, a GASP Workshop was conducted by the ICAO Secretariat.

It is to be noted that during this RASG-MID/6, the Vice Chair RASG-EUR, Mr. Haydar Yalcin, provided a briefing on the RASG-EUR activities and achievements to increase inter-regional cooperation and coordination on safety related issues.
