Establishing a COVID-Safe Plan

Generally applicable risk mitigation measures [MM1]  identified in the CART "Take-off" document include:

1. Public education

2. General hygiene

3. Physical distancing

4. Face coverings and medical masks

5. Routine sanitation

6. Health screening

7. Health monitoring and contact tracing

8. Health Declarations

9. Risk management (including Testing)

10. Promoting, maintaining and supporting mental well-being

All stakeholders need to have developed their own specific COVID safe plan that identifies processes and procedures for the implementation of these risk mitigation measures. It is important that the participating operator coordinate closely with the ATO to ensure that their proposed FSTD Access PHC incorporates the mitigation measures described above. Establishing this will require advance bilateral communication, coordination, and planning.

The following recommended elements of a COVID-Safe plan have been grouped according to the elements of an FSTD access PHC.
