The Project Team on Implementation of Meteorological Services in the Eastern part of the EUR Region PT/EAST/19 Meeting was held in Chisinau, Moldova from 29 to 31 May 2019.

Forty-six participants from eleven States (Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, France, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Ukraine and Uzbekistan) and ICAO continued progress on the implementation of Aviation System Block Upgrade (ASBU) Block 0 – AMET, and in particular to the dissemination of special air-reports, OPMET data requirements, SIGMET cross-border coordination, Quality Management System new standard ISO 9001:2015, World Area Forecast System, and pre-requisites related to the establishment of Regional OPMET Centre (ROC) Moscow. A report of progress related to the implementation of the above will be provided to the parent group, METG/29, from 17 to 20 September 2019.
