The ICAO EUR/NAT Acting Regional Director, Capt. Denis Guindon and the Deputy Regional Director, Mr. Elkhan Nahmadov, met with Prof. Dr. Kemal YÜKSEK, Director General of the Civil Aviation, DGCA of Turkey, and Mr. Alpaslan ÇELEBİ, Director of International Relations Department, DGCA of Turkey.
During the meeting, the ICAO EUR/NAT Office presented an overview of the priority activities of the Office, current work programme as well as the direction and priorities for the upcoming years for the region. Both discussed on the potential areas of cooperation on different domains such as environment, training activities, capacity building activities, etc. Possible cooperation on technical cooperation and assistance were mentioned.
Further coordination will be undertaken to reinforce the cooperation between ICAO EUR/NAT Office and Turkey.
