The ICAO EUR/NAT Office organized and hosted an International Air Law course in Paris, France, from 05 to 09 February 2024. The course aims to enable representatives from CAAs, Airports and ATC as well as government Officials to support their organizations in compliance with international air law, through the application of appropriate knowledge and advocacy of the concepts, the rules and procedures of international air law. The course was attended by 9 participants coming from various Member States.

As part of ICAO's continued commitment to promote competency-based training, the Regional Office will organize and host four other ICAO courses in 2024 (i.e. Managing Compliance with ICAO SARPs, Safety Occurrence Reporting for Practitioners, Unmanned Aviation Fundamentals, State Safety Programme) and one virtual course (i.e. Safety Risk Management Fundamentals).
