The Thirteenth meeting of the ICAO EUR Regional Expert Safety Team (IE-REST/13) was held in Paris, France, from 11 to 12 April 2019.
The meeting was attended by 38 participants from 12 States, 4 International Organizations and Industry.
The ICAO EUR Regional Expert Safety Team (IE-REST) is established within the ICAO European Regional Aviation Safety Group (RASG-EUR) structure to support the development and implementation of safety enhancement initiatives and activities in the part of the ICAO EUR Region which is not covered by the EU/EASA regulatory framework, in line with the RASG-EUR objectives.

These safety enhancement initiatives and activities may be implemented through the harmonized efforts of the regulatory authorities, in coordination with service providers, airlines and aircraft manufacturers. The IE-REST Members will serve as focal points for introducing the safety enhancement initiatives and activities within their respective States or organizations and, in the case of representatives of Civil Aviation Authorities, for coordinating their Government's efforts with industry.
