ICAO EUR/NAT Office has organized jointly with ACAO a technical assistance mission on environment to support Morocco developing their States Action Plans on CO2 emissions reduction from international aviation. Participants, State Action Plan Focal Point as well as the member of the National Action Plan Team, received information on the development of a States Action Plan, the data collection, and selection of mitigation measures including CORSIA.
The technical assistance meeting included a training on the ICAO environment Tool such as IFSET, CERT, and the CORSIA Central Registry to ensure the submission of the CO2 emissions data from Morocco to ICAO.
Follow up action will be undertaken by ICAO to continue to support the participating States in their activities toward CORSIA implementation and development of States Action Plans.
