The 7th meeting of the ICAO EASPG Regional Expert Safety Group (EASPG RESG/07) was held in a hybrid format.
The Meeting reviewed the outcomes of the European Regional Aviation Safety Plan (EUR RASP) 2023 Survey and produced the draft EUR RASP 2023 Implementation report. This was done to identify progress and possible assistance activities to help the EUR States to implement the EUR RASP safety actions.
Preparation of the EUR RASP 2024 Survey was also discussed. The data for the survey will feed the future updates of the EUR RASP for 2026-2028.

The Meeting also discussed several topics and possible solutions to: establish safety data exchange mechanisms; improve the quality of accident and incident investigations; develop safety oversight techniques for quality management systems (QMS); share resources for training of CAA inspectors; develop and utilize safety performance indicators; and improve runway safety; GNSS interference. Some agreed solutions will soon be communicated to ICAO Member States and Industry through an ICAO Regional State Letter and as EASPG Safety Advisories.
The Meeting was attended by 50 participants from 29 States, 8 International Organizations and Industry.
