OEM reference material relevant to the support of the operators during the COVID-19

Note: The information on this page expires on October 15, 2020.


The table below represents the OEM reference material relevant to the support of the operators during the COVID pandemic (current as of June 2020).  These documents can be used to support discussions with authorities on changes to aircraft operations and maintenance during this period of time.  Please contact the OEM directly to ensure that the information governing airplane operations is based on the latest revisions and is appropriate for the specific airframe.  It is important that the Aircraft OEM provides relevant information for their product.


There are a number of ways to contact the Aircraft OEM to obtain these documents.  This can include contacting the Customer Support organization, the Field Service Representative, logging into the OEM Portal and other methods.  If there is not regular contact between the operator and the Aircraft OEM, a starting point may be found at the following web links.

AMM section 12

 

AMM section 12 contains information about disinfectants which can be used on A/C type RRJ-95 (SSJ-100). There is information that disinfectant shall comply with AMS1452 standard. During review of the current version of our AMM sec. 12 we decided to enlarge it little bit to add possibility to use as disinfectant 70% IPA. Also we would like to add information for Cargo Compartment disinfection and some more detailed precaution of operator technical personal for work with recirculation filters.

ATR - OIM 2020-007 

COVID-19 - AIRCRAFT CLEANING AND DISINFECTION            

The objective of this OIM is to provide ATR Operators with general guidance on aircraft cleaning and disinfection, along with approved specifications of products that can be used to disinfect the aircraft.
ATR OIM 2020-002 - Corona virus (COVID-19) and cabin air supply The objective of this OIM is to inform ATR Operators about existing international organizations recommendations in relation to Coronavirus '2019-nCoV' and to provide guidelines regarding the ATR cabin air supply system.
ATR OIM 2020-003 - COVID-19 – General Guidance on cargo transportation

The objective of this OIM is to provide ATR Operators with general guidance on carrying humanitarian aid and cargo on a passenger aircraft as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

This OIM details information for ATR following the publication of the EASA guidelines "Transport of Cargo in Passenger Compartment - exemptions under Article 71(1) of Regulation 2018/1139 (the Basic Regulation)".

ATR ECM ref. EC-1578/20 Provides recommendations for the cargo transportation on passenger compartment floor after removal of the seats, without the class E option, during the COVID-19 outbreak.

OIM 2020-004 - Dispositions for aircraft preservation due to COVID exceptional context.

 

The objective of this OIM is to inform Operators of an adapted preservation program issued by ATR due to COVID-19 exceptional context. This program has been prepared to allow the immobilization of the aircraft for more than 1 month and up to 3 months, thus easing aircraft return to service when normal operations will progressively resume.

This OIM also informs Operators about the ATR position about the "clock stoppage" for scheduled maintenance tasks while aircraft remain stored.

ATR Job Card - ATR-A-12-21-12-00ZZZ-250Z-A - Internal Cleaning In addition to the AMM cleaning procedure, ATR is working on an OIM dedicated to aircraft cleaning and disinfection.
