Information on Visa Application to South Africa

ICAO State letter EC 2/16.14-13/65 serves the purpose of visa application to South Africa. The host has advised their embassies and consulates about this event.

Kindly NOTE that NO diplomatic visa is provided for South Africa. ICAN participants will be given a visa for attending a conference in South Africa and normal procedures must be followed for applying for a visitor’s visa.
 
Please apply and obtain your entry visa to South Africa BEFORE your arrival as no visa will be granted on arrival by South African authorities. You should allow at least four (4) weeks for the processing of your visa application.

 

Application for an entry visa may be obtained from the nearest South African Embassy or Consulate. In the absence of a South African Embassy or Consulate in your own country, you should apply for a visa from a Consulate or Embassy nearest to your vicinity.
