Scrutiny Working Group (GTE)

The GREPECAS Scrutiny Working Group (GTE) is composed of experts from the CAR/SAM Regions qualified in the analysis and assessment of the Large Height Deviations (LHDs) of 300 feet or more, as defined in ICAO Doc 9574 — Manual on a 300 m (1 000 ft) Vertical Separation Minimum Between FL 290 and FL 410 Inclusive.

 

This Group also carries out an important coordination work with the CAR/SAM Monitoring Agency (CARSAMMA) for the compilation, purification and review of data on LHDs, identifying trends in deviations and recommending corrective actions to improve safety.

 

The Scrutiny Working Group (GTE) will prepare an annual Executive Report for the GREPECAS Secretary containing the statistical information related to LHDs, as well as the recommendations on risk mitigation measures deemed relevant.

El Grupo de Trabajo de Escrutinio (GTE) del GREPECAS está integrado por especialistas de las Regiones CAR/SAM calificados en el análisis y evaluación de los grandes desvíos de altura (LHD) de 300 pies o más, tal como se define en el Doc 9574 — Manual sobre una separación vertical mínima de 300 m (1 000 ft) entre FL 290 y FL 410 inclusive de la OACI.

 

Este Grupo cumple además una importante labor de coordinación con la Agencia de Monitoreo del Caribe y Sudamérica (CARSAMMA) para la compilación, depuración y revisión de datos sobre los LHD identificando tendencias en los desvíos y recomendando acciones correctivas a fin de mejorar la seguridad operacional.

 

El Grupo de Trabajo de Escrutinio (GTE) preparará un Informe Ejecutivo anual para el Secretario del GREPECAS conteniendo la información estadística relativa a los LHD, así como las recomendaciones sobre las medidas de mitigación de riesgos que entiendan pertinentes.
